Ms. Owenby is a Principal with Capital Trade, Incorporated. She joined Capital Trade in 2001 after working for nine years as a Senior International Trade Analyst with a major New York/Washington, D.C. law firm and a Senior Import Compliance Specialist /Import Compliance Specialist with the Department of Commerce. Ms. Owenby’s background is in international trade regulation, with specific expertise in antidumping investigations and administrative reviews, antidumping duty margin analysis and monitoring strategies, and SAS computer programming.
She also has considerable experience in U.S. International Trade Commission injury determinations, including the compilation, analysis, and presentation of questionnaire response data, and the analysis of the economic impact of imports on U.S. industries and consumers. Ms. Owenby is a licensed customs broker and has been an expert witness before the World Trade Organization.
